Information Related to the EFILE On-Demand Option
The EFILE On-Demand option allows you to electronically transmit your clients' returns even if your product does not include unlimited EFILE capability. The transaction history and the processing report allow you to keep track of the different transmissions made with the EFILE On-demand option.
- In the left menu, click Professional Centre, then click the Taxprep Services tab.
- In the
Transactions History area, located in
the left menu, click Recent transactionsto consult the transactions made with theEFILE On-Demand option.
From year to year, transactions will be archived and retained in the Professional Centre. - Click the hyperlink for the desired transaction.
The information for each of the electronic transmissions are located in the "Details" section of the pop-up window.
The EFILE On-Demand functionality issues a processing report containing a list of all returns transmitted using your account number. This report records all of the requests transmitted during the day and allows you to keep track of current return processing.
To display a processing report in the Professional Centre, proceed as follows:
- In the left menu, click Professional Centre, then click the Taxprep Services tab.
- In the Processing
Report area, located in the left menu, click EFILE On-Demand.
The list of available reports will display in the right-hand side, under the applicable taxation year. - Click the hyperlink for the desired report. The document is in PDF format and will open in the Adobe Reader window.
